1960s/70s Mexican Dress by Josefa
Very good vintage condition. There is a place on the lower right side that I can’t decide is a pull, or just a flaw in the fabric. Which is possible. See photo.

Fabric content unknown. It feels like a linen blend? It is heavier than a cotton.

Ever since we started selling online, I have had so much fun researching these labels, some that I have never seen before! Like this one: Josefa was called “The Mother of Mexican Fashion Design”. Her garments were never massed produced and were handmade by local women. Elizabeth Taylor discovered her and became a big fan. As a result, these dresses are pretty rare! And very “haute hippie”.
