The fabric content is unknown. It is probably a wool blend?
Fully lined and the lining is probably a poly blend.
Skirt is A-line, with a waistband that has button closure and belt loops, and slash pockets on the front hips.
I know this is from the 90s, because Burberry, as they are known today, dropped the ‘s’ from the name in about 1998. This tartan – known as “Nova Check” was created in the 1920s as a lining for their trench coats. In the 1960s, Nova Check started to be used for other items; umbrellas, scarves, etc. I do remember in the 90s how this plaid was
Everywhere suddenly! Now there are knock-offs of the tartan. But this is the real deal!
